KEYS TO THE CITY
Mama will never follow you again, papa will now relax,
Be happy to be free once more, freedom is with you,
Beware of the already taught theory, from now it’s practicals,
Real life is like the city, full of ups and downs.

Two decades almost over, you are now eighteen,
Many have tried to shower, the life water temperatures never homogenous,
The skin may feel it hot, it may feel it cold too,
Real life is like the city, full of ups and downs.

Household head to your life, key decisions will depend with you,
Your parents may be opportunity cost, in deed in decision making,
An adult you’ve turned, wiser you’ve become,
Real life is like the city, full of ups and downs.

You’ve said goodbye to juvenile court, adult jail is real,
The world is an unfair place, over eighteens control their deeds,
Happy life we again wish you, lucrative deeds we shower to you,
Real life is like the city, full of ups and downs.

You’re one step away from mama’s dinner, half steps away from papa’s cottage,
Remember the world is a teacher, a teacher disciplines too,
Your brain is really mature, your deeds too should be,
Real life is like the city, full of ups and downs.
